Poetry Album based on the well known translation by Edward FitzGerald of the so called "rubaiyat" written by Omar Khayyam. Three main themes can be found in this album, such as: wine, love and the time between birth and dead. The quatrains are mostly Dutch, some in English and in French. Dutch, German and French translations were compared with the original English version, followed by own translations and comments. Other items are: who was Omar Khayyam, what is a "rubaiyat", who was FitzGerald, the most important manuscripts, a confrontation between different translations in other languages and some addenda concerning aspects in relation with Persian Poetry, such as illustrations in different editions. This booklet was edited on only 50 numbered and signed copies, printed in white on Fashion Darkbleu 80 gr and set in Optima.
